Swipe Your Style, Elevate Your Wardrobe!

StyleMate is a mobile application I developed using React Native for the frontend and a C# backend. It offers users a Tinder-like swipe system for browsing various clothing brands. With StyleMate, users can effortlessly find clothing pieces they love without spending hours scrolling through sites like Zalando.
What makes it unique?
It combines numerous different brands into one platform, so you don't have to visit multiple clothing sites and apps to find what you need. It also simplifies the shopping experience and makes it more personal.
What can be added?
In the future, I would love to add features such as a social media system where users can share the clothing pieces they like. I also aim to improve the algorithm that suggests clothes by implementing better tagging for each item. I am considering integrating AI technologies for tagging the garments.
What did I learn?
While developing this app, I gained knowledge in the React Native framework and learned techniques for synchronizing large datasets from various providers. Additionally, by designing the app myself, I deepened my understanding of UX design principles.
